Rural King lives by these 4 words: “We Are Our Customer.” Our associates live in our communities, support their families, and choose the rural life. By supporting our communities to preserve the rural life, we are helping our associates and, by extension, our customers in the most direct way possible.
Rural King stores have supported 4-H and FFA for over 60 years, because these are the hands that can (and do) feed America.
Each store manager works with their local 4-H groups to help support 4-H members directly at their livestock auctions and other events. In addition, Rural King store managers visit their local 4-H and FFA chapter meetings and host store events to discuss important topics about farming, community, and rural life.
In 2019 and 2020, Rural King stores have donated over $350,000 to support their local 4-H and FFA clubs. These donations are given directly to our local 4-H and FFA participants and club leaders, because that is where they do the most good.
The RK Foundation for Rural America unites our vision with our customers vision in supporting these crucial organizations and their vital contributions to the rural communities and the way of life we all represent.
